Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
You think you're having issues getting it to run smooth?
I'll bet I have the weakest rig in this thread:
P4 1.6a
768 megs pc2700
radeon 9500 pro
onboard sound
It detected my rig as ultra low. 640 x 480
I am still playing with the INI to get (sort of) acceptable settings.
800x600...
CLASSIC!
What a great gift! Gonna pick a couple up today!
Thanks for the heads-up! :)
Thanks for the link to the TPS report, gonna print out 50 copies and place one on every desk in the office. :D
I probably have the weakest system in this forum...
P4 1.6a radeon 9500 pro 5.10 cats 768 mb ram
WIth shadows (any shadows) enabled I get 10 FPS.
Disable all shadows and I get 35 FPS.
I turned on 4x aa, 2x af, average 25 fps @1024x768
Game is creepy fun, good times.
I must be lucky.... No problems with Civ 4.
P4 1.6a
768 megs ram
radeon 9500 pro 5.10 cats
too early for my opinion of the game, need more time to play. But I can tell you this much: it's the same ole Civ....
I had a similar issue and the problem was zone alarm (latest version). as soon as I uninstalled zonealarm and restarted my pc, i had no more issues. I should have stuck with zone alarm pro 4.5, best version IMO.
