    dirt 2 demo out today

    I ran four races in the demo today and the frame rate was rock solid. Definitely a big step up graphically from the original.

    PS3 Controller Charging

    I've noticed the same thing, except I am able to charge them while plugged into the USB port of my Verizon DVR (it's an always on port so we use it to charge controllers, cell phones, etc). Other than that, nothing other than the PS3 or my laptop will charge the damn things. Not a big hassle...

    UPDATE: Preorders for PS3!

    I think what is being forgotten here is that if they send 1-2 units to each store, that leaves ~70,000 for them to sell in bundles on their website, which is where they will make their money.

    The manager of an EB Games here in Richmond, VA told me today that they are not taking pre-orders. As far as he knew, this applied to all stores, but he said he is 100% certain there will be no pre-orders at his store.

    Company Of Heroes Excitement!

    I just finished the first two single player missions and all I can say is "Wow". This is the most immersive RTS I have ever played. Its a very rewarding experience when you repel a counter attack and capture that hard earned point. Enough typing, must play now!

    Working next to an X- phantom guy.

    Just last week I actually saw a commercial for the Phantom on G4. I thought I was imagining things so I rewound the DVR and sure enough, it appeared to be an actual Phantom advertisement.

    anyone with impressions/feedback on fight night round 3?

    It can be slow depending on the fighter you choose. The faster fighters feel right on par with the pace of Round 2. Overall, its turning out to be much better than the demo led me to believe.
