    got infected Wednesday. Malware bytes took care of most of it. But all my browsers are hijacked and i can't seem to shake it. tried: -IE factory reset -hikackthis doesn't see it -default browser search, home page, etc settings in REGEDIT look normal -installed chrome, it takes on the hijacked...

    Folder Redirection, files missing after disjoin

    transfer wizard didn't pick up jack I didn't bother rejoining the PC to the domain... i found that the "offline files" folder is stored in C:\WINDOWS\CSC. After taking owner ship of that folder and sub-folders I was able to recover all of the data.
