Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Oh sorry I forgot to list the motherboard in my OP. Yes I am going with the IP35-Pro. I just want to make sure everything is compatible before I buy all the main parts. if there is a suggestion for an upgrade feel free to say! ty!
So my ram will be fine? The price wasn't much different than the DDR 800 so I just decided to get the one higher up. But I should be okay with that ram correct? I'm not sure what you mean by tighter timings and lower speeds, but I still have yet to read how to overclock so I'll know then.
I have to thank everyone that helped me pick out parts for my new pc HERE (Danny, enginurd etc).
I have all my parts selected and have started purchasing some of them from Ncix.
My only concern is I heard with this G.Skill ram is that I may not be good with over clocking, but I only intend...
I didn't get the top expensive at the time, but I did spend I think $130+ on this card when I first got it. But back then I could careless about serious gaming, I was just getting into computers, but now I have a completely different mindset.
I'll give you an example, I bought Guitar Hero for...
I have a FX5500 which I'm sure you're way better off than I am, and my games (Half Life 2, CS:S, FarCry) look GOOD to me...but that's only because I haven't seen them rendered with my 8800 GTS that's coming in the mail =) and I'm used to playing at around 20-40fps...I haven't really experienced...
Ain't it the truth!
First computer I built, everything went as planned, spent almost an hour cable managing...turned it on, motherboard blows up =(....I had one extra mounting screw at the back that you screw the motherboard on too...so it was metal against the motherboard.
Thanks! I love it.
$210 at Performance-Pcs.com
Actually my customs fee was about $35, but that's because I ordered extra parts so the parcel cost was listed higher. Not sure whether or not this affects custom fees, but still $35 is nothing! I thought I was going to end up paying $100...
Yess! It's finally here. I'm surprised shipping was so quick! Took 7 business to get to Canada. Shipped through USPS, had NO brokerage fees, just had to pay custom fees which was about $30, not bad at all. Enough talking...PICTURES!
THANK YOU PERFORMANCE-PCS! Best Ever!
Lian Li V1000B Plus II...
Yes! I just snatched up a brand new Z5500 for $139 CAD after taxes. Can't wait to try it out when I get my prelude!!! :D
Can anyone comment on these speakers with the prelude or xi-fi gamer?
I thought this was supposed to be released tomorrow, but this morning we received the new BFG 8800GTS 512mb in stock and it already hit the shelves at Futureshop.
We only have two in stock though lol. price is $429 rougly (overpriced in my opinion, I would wait till the price goes down, or come...
I think one would assume to make sure you discharge the vacuum by letting the metal tip or what-not, touch the base of the case or any metal part, and make sure you discharge yourself too. (Or at least it's what I assume)
I'm feeling the TJ09 but NOT the 07. I like the 09 because of those side intake fans and window.
I'm still in love with the Li Lian <3 I just wished it came with window by default. I really considered the V1000 but it's WAY tooo small.
But now I may be considering the Silverstone. Any...
I just decided to get the V1200 from NCIX HERE and get the window panel later from performance-pcs when I save up enough money later.
What are the advantages of a tj07/09? Any reason why you recommended them?
