Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm new to mobile computers and looking for a laptop setup with an AMD 64 (any flavor), Nvidia 6800go, and 15.4" widescreen. I'm brand loyal to AMD and Nvidia but this is based on my desktop experience, if I should be looking elsewhere in the mobile market let me know. Thanks for the help...
Yesterday I was adding a file to my usb memory stick when things took a turn for the worse. I inserted the stick into a usb slot on the back of the motherboard just like I always do, no additional force needed. Then added the file I needed and ejected the stick from Windows. At this point I...
Sorry for the confusion. By master and slave channel I meant the master and slave plugs on one cable. Here is how it is currently setup.
DVD-RW(jumper set to master)----------CD-RW(jumper set to slave)----------Mobo
HD---------__---------Mobo
The computer only sees the CD-RW out of the...
I'm having troubles getting my computer to see both of the cd drives that I have hooked up. To start with I had a CD-RW drive that had jumpers set to slave(forgot to look before installing) and was plugged into the master channel on the IDE cable. Computer never had an issue. Now I have added...
So does that mean I could get a 20GB 4th gen (smallest iPod yet) and install a 40GB drive?
Would this drive work? http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=100527
Very interesting if this would work.
I was able to use Partition Recovery to recover the E drive but a good majoritoy or the files are listed as corrupt even if Partition Recovery sees them. Any way to recover the files too? Thanks for the help.
Brandon.
I downloaded file scavenger but it doesn't see the E partition to scan.
Could you give detailed instructions on what to do? Thanks.
Brandon.
I was in the process of using Partition Magic 7 to increase the size of my
primary partition to 16GB. This partition contained Windows and drivers on
6GB. I had 145GB open on my E: drive and was using some of the open space
on there to add to C:. Both partitions are on the same hard drive...
I just built a system with an a64 3400+, MSI K8N Neo Plat, and 1.5gb PC3200 (3x512) of Corsair select ram. With one or two sticks in the system they run at 200mhz but when I add the third stick it drops to 166mhz, DDR 333. Is there anyway I can get around this and run all 3 sticks at 200mhz...
I have a Sony 34" XBR910 widescreen hdtv and I was wondering if I can use it as a monitor for gaming using the DVI input? Would I be able to us high resolutions since it is a HDTV or would i be limited to something like 800x600 on a normal tv? Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Brandon.
I'm building a new A64 setup in the next few weeks and was wondering if it would be worth it to run 4x512mb sticks of PC3200. Would I see enough performance increase to justify the cost in anyway or will 1 gig cover me? Comp will be used for random multitasking during the day and gaming all...
