    I want to do something similar. I have 6 HD's and would like to power them along with various other fans and lights off a second PS. I even have the space directly above my 1st PS to hook one up. How would I go about hooking up a 2nd PS to kick on when my 1st one does?

    Warning: nForce hates PATA => SATA converters

    I am using a pata to sata converter on a 8kda3+. It's working fine. What's not is the raid array. the bios will see the 2 74G raptors and says healthy stripe. Win2k will not see them as an array. tech support is even stumped right now.

    ASUS A7N8X266-VM/400 issues....

    Those VM boards are notoriously weird and flakey. We have 2 at thte lan center and they will be replaced very shortly. Nothing but problems with them for the last 6 months.

    AMD upgrade 2500 vs A64

    I got a SHuttle sn85g4 A64 box and it mops the floor with my barton 2500 oc'd to 3200. Not even close. Quieter, faster and much more portable.
