Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Irony is, that is the first thing I noticed. I don't console and haven't gamed in who knows how long, so I am ignorant of what Sony, Nintendo, etc. produce.

I am watching this closely as well. I have one drive on the 3gb/s ports and it has taken to simply disappearing in the midst of significant write activity.

I used the big-button auto overclock feature in AI tools and it would ramp up to 1.41 v or so, when at peak Ghz.
I lapped the hsf and ihs with some 2000 and 2500 and got temps down to a point where I am comfortable letting the OCCT run and after two hours, my peak temp was 71c.

I see you are sporting the D14 in your rig, so thanks for coming in to offer your thoughts! I am thinking seriously about at least adding a third fan and maybe replacing all three of them.
Tonight, I am going to lap the IHS and the D14 with (steps leading up to) 1800 grit, just to see what...
Thanks for the link. I realize now how much information I left out. i.e. ambient temp, voltage, bclck and multiplier
I'll have to come back and add that a bit later.

I just need a gut-check. The last time I messed with OCing, I was doing peltiers and water-blocks. So, after being out of the OC game for at least 8 years, I decided to plunk down some $$ on a sandy bridge and wanted exceptional cooling, so I bought a Noctua D14.
Under full load with HT...
I've been focusing on other areas with my $$ so I am in a similar boat; very happy to have a pc, but it is a celeron 450 @ 2.2 ghz (two years running) and I am due for an upgrade!

The P260 was by far my favorite monitor. I transitioned to LCD panels, because the thing set of so much heat and had ruined a couple of el-cheapo desks (weight).
The cable is DVI-I, which includes analog (DVI-A) and digital (DVI-D) pinouts, but you need to make sure that the DVI on your video...
I tried that at my local Micro Center and the CPU desk clerk told me I should check back around the 5th; "they shouldn't be available for retail until the 9th, so we won't advertise until then, but as soon as CES opens, I imagine that we'll be able to sell one here or there wiithout raising too...
By all accounts, I will see an increase in 15% clock for clock, vs. the next available alternative. It was an easy decision ... even though it means waiting a couple of more weeks.
