We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Starting P2V of servers into ESX 3.5

Wow, you 2 are awesome. Thank you very much for the info on the differences - especially about the limitations on the snapshots and stuff. It's also nice to know that I might be able to do this without blowing up all the NTFS permissions. I will have to find out about the LUN sizes - they...

Starting P2V of servers into ESX 3.5

Thanks, I didn't realize there were SAN copy utilities. I was thinking about creating 1TB LUNs and trying either the iniator in windows or the RDM route. That's really where I am looking for advice and pros/cons for either choice. I've never configured for RDM, so I wasn't sure if that would...

Starting P2V of servers into ESX 3.5

Virtualizing some servers in a couple of weeks. Most of the servers look like they will be pretty straightforward conversions - except for 2. There are 2 file servers with their own directly connected FC EMCs, each holding about 2.5TB of data. The ESX set-up consists of 4 hosts and 2 iSCSI...

    Putty Replacement

I'm hoping someone can offer up some suggestions on an SSH app that I can use in a terminal services environment. Unfortunately Putty writes continous changes to the HKLM - which is a no-go in terminal services for your average user. Thanks.

Yes, another 4gb in Vista only showing 3.25gb thread... But I am running x64

So, how do you figure out the amount of RAM Vista actually has access to on a machine now?

Jason Isom, when the users told you they couldn't connect to the server, did you have them try to ping it?

Do you still need the /PAE switch if you upgrade to Enterprise?

disk image software that's not Norton Ghost?

Just wanted to interupt for a minute here. To the OP: I like TrueImage for imaging complete system states. I do them "live" on production servers, with no problems. I have restored from these images (always test your backups) to different hardware and to VMs with no problems. TLDR - YMMV...

Install both sticks in the same color slots (i.e. both in the black slots or both in the yellow ones).

Proud of the nVidia forum today

Never used an ATI card only because when I have made my upgrades, nvidia seemed like the best card to get at the time. Of course I've only had 3 cards: TNT - GF3 - 8800. R.I.P. GF3 - you served me well until Supreme Commander. :(

    Which P5B

I just put together a PC with the P5B-E about two weeks ago. I got a good overclock with it and it runs pretty good. My only complaint is the "vdroop" with this board - I have to set the vcore kind of high to account for it. The fluctuating vcore voltage gave me fits trying to get a stable oc...

Chipset Strap - Can anyone explain this?

So the strap doesn't apply to anything under 400 (i.e. running at 350, 360, 372, etc.)? Like OP asked - no harm to northbridge running at 334 versus 333?
