    HP Laptop for work

I currently have a 3yr old Dell e6420 for work: 2520m (dual core 2.5GHz, turbo to 3.2) 14" 1600x900 4GB 80GB SSD The battery is about shot, and the warranty is almost up, so I have the choice to replace it with either of these: HP Elitebook 840 G1 4300u (dual core 1.9GHz, turbo to...

    Warm: Acer G276HLDbd Black 27" 6ms (GTG)LED Monitor $199.99+FS Newegg

This seems like a really good deal. Cheapest 2560x1440 27" panel on the Egg is $600. I think I can put up with 1920x1080 for 1/3 cost. The only question in my mind is whether it's worth going with this or one of the $350 Ebay no-name panels that does 2560x1440. I'm not sure if the extra...

    PS3 40GB Spiderman

In the 40GB PS3, is the Spiderman disc sealed in a regular Bluray case, or is it in a sleave? Is it something I could take to a store and exchange for a different movie?

PIX 501 or new ASA series for Small Business

What are your experiences with SSL VPN on ASA? It seems like each code revision brings tons of bug fixes. It makes me nervous about deploying it.

Interesting problem on a corporate scale...

As mentioned by others, a filter could help, but won't catch everything. It could be configured to only look at outbound mail. Maybe you configure it to block any email that leaves the organization that has the word "shit" in it. The three possibilities for what would trip this would be...

Just got WRT54GS, got some quistions.

It should have NATting and the firewall enabled by default. Most of the out-of-the-box defaults are probably fine, but you'll want to change the wireless security settings. WPA or WPA2 with a strong password would be fine. The PSP can't do WPA2 yet, so you'd be limited to WPA if you wanted to...

    How to block access?

If they don't know what a router is, just disable DHCP, and change the default IP of the router. It's a two minute fix, and they won't figure out how to connect unless they plug in and start sniffing packets.

P5N-E south bridge chipset cooler (with dual slot GPU)

I know the reviews say it's hot, but would the southbridge really get hotter with overclocking? The FSB and memory buses connect to the northbridge.
