I actually got this deal without even asking or suggesting it. I simply asked for a copy of XP Home and Dell Drivers, and they shipped XP Pro. Very nice, but their "next day" with DHL is going into the 3rd day of trying to get the disc to my house.
Finally got my 9300, so go ahead and add me to the list of happy campers. My ex unobtainable wireless router signal is now fine, so I will be taking the new one back to staples. I am very pleased so far with the 9300, but no games yet, installing all my stuff.
Mine is coming tomorrow, but I have one gripe with Dell/UPS. It said being delivered to carrier since Sat. night until Mon. night. Finally, about 2 hours ago, it showed up as being about 20 miles from my house. I then had to scramble to find someone to be here because it's gonna rain tomorrow...
Well, my subwoofer is 17 pounds, so it could be close to 25 pounds total, but not even on Creative's site is the weight listed!?!?!? http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=4&subcategory=24&product=152
Hey, I was just checking this out and it turns out it isn't free shipping. This is their shipping policy : "For orders greater than 25 lbs, the charge will be $7.95 for the first pound then $0.50/lb for each additional pound." It is still a Hawt base price though, I paid $150 for my Klipsch 4.1's.
I didn't ask, but I would guess something motherboard related, the mobo is the one part you can't upgrade ( i think )? I also ordered one on the 13th, but cancelled to save a few bucks and upgrade HD, screen+cd drive. I could call back, so if I do that, I will post whatever they say. UPDATE...
I called Dell up because my laptop ( 9300 ) had not changed status since I bought it on Friday, April 15. It turns out there was some part shortage that delayed all 9300's, according to the customer service woman I talked to today. She said the estimated shipping date should still be correct.
Sooo, I ordered a 9300 with base mem ( upgrade later ), 6800 go + 3 year warranty ( EPP ) on Wed. Today I ordered the 9300 from Small Business with 6800, base mem, 80 GB HDD, CD burner ( free ), Printer ( free ), True Life screen and regular 1 year warranty. I saved 70 bucks, is this a good...
Hey, anyone miss the $750 off $1500 deal? Ripped from slickdeals, Dell now has a $700 off $1700 coupon FROM SMALL BUSINESS. http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?threadid=92920 This works for any Inspiron I believe, I ordered second 9300 in two days :). I am gonna cancel my EPP 9300 soon...
Hey, ordered my laptop today at 5:48 EST pm. EPP through my Mom's school. Got 3 year warranty ( lowest cost ) and the 6800 go. Everything else is the base configuration, all for $1240. No longer upset I missed the home 750 off 1500 coupon this morning.
