Unmanned Aircraft Banned In National Parks

As always the easy way to just 'ban' everything. I've said it else where, but make pilots of rc craft (quads or planes) get a licence/pass to be able to fly. Just like you need to get for fish or hunting (in some parks). This keeps the newbies out of park (most likely the reason for this 'law'...

Global PC Shipments See Worst Drop Ever

I think at least from my preservative and people I've talked to as of late, their pc is 'fast enough', most people don't need anything more than they already have. There's no super new gfx card this year, no new super chip. If a [H] user like myself doesn't really want a 4770K, then how can we...

    GeForce GTX780 Ti Unveiled

Won't be buying another gfx card until they move to 22nm, tired of see re-runs of 28nm over and over. 780Ti only shows NV was holding back until R290X was pushed out, so all the poor 780 people get screwed over. Won't be too pleased if I'd just bought a pari of 780s

*Official* Norco data storage products thread

I have the 4020 and I'm run two Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000rpm, definitely not quiet, but I have replacement Scythe Gentle Typhoon (1800rpm) that should do nicely. I think it really depends what kind of drives you'll be running, if they're all 7200rpm then you'll need a lot more air. If they're...

    2 x eVGA GTX680 (02G-P4-2680-KR)

Hi All, I have two eVGA GTX 680 cards for sale; both cards are in perfect working order, come with full retail box and accessories (unopened). The cards are also unregistered so you won't have any trouble there. The buyer(s) will be provided with a digital invoice should they wish to have a...

LSI Owner's Thread (SAS/SATA HBA and RAID cards)

Hi, Does anyone have any experience with the 9260s (4i specifically) and running SLI. I'd like to get my RAID5 off the Intel on-board and onto a real controller, but my last venture (HP RR 3510 + 6970s in CF) turned out badly and didn't work at all. Experience or thoughts would be great...

MSI R7970 Lightning Video Card Review @ [H]

This or a new 680GTX, price/perf is going to be the my deciding factor. I guess we'll find out soon enough :)

    Zakari's Home Build

You might consider this setup: LSI MegaRAID SATA/SAS 9260-4i or the 8i if you want a couple extra ports. Intel RES2SV240 Plug-in Card SAS RAID Controller vs the single card. Still gets you 20 ports and costs about 1/2 as much. From personal experience the solution works very well.

Definitely disappointed in this game, was hoping a great game and was more PC friendly ... I guess there's always next year :(

    Battlefield 3 Preview Performance Preview @ [H]

Hopefully AMD can get a driver fix out for the CFX "shuttering" that's not something anyone wants to see :( Otherwise looking forward to playing later tonight :)

    another raid card question

From experience I can say the LSI is a great card. It also works great with the Intel expander (see sig). I would sell the 9650SE and buy the Intel expander. Then you won't ever need to upgrade and raid elements again (as with the expander you'll be set for filling up your Norco).
