yeah so it looks like a captive portal ie My browser is redirected to the login page at 192.168.1.1 Can ddwrt or tomato not login in to this? Moving past the login part is there a way I could still put my router between the two, so that I could have my devices on the same secure network...

    Core or CPU temps

I am trying to keep my CPU at a safe temperature which I hear is 55C under load. Do I want my CPU temp to be under that or the core temps, because the core temps are ~8 C higher.

    Dead CPU

Yeah I reset CMOS, I also switched out every piece of hardware in the thing before I tried the CPU. Also I put the CPU in the brother's comp and it also freezes on the post screen. Yeah the artifacting made me think GPU at first but definitely not.

    Dead CPU

I tried overclocking my E8400 and got it up to 3.8Ghz with 1.34V and everything was running stable. I ran prime 95 for like 10 hours no errors, and the CPU temps were ~45C under load, individual core temps were like 55-60C. I settled but a couple days later I was playing a game and it started...

    WRN854t stability: Firmware suggestions

I bought a netgear WNR854t upon the recommendation of the sticky but it seems to crash alot. I know DD-WRT doesn't work with its processor but I was wondering if there are any third party firmware solutions that could offer more stability.

The bulbs cost 200-230 and are rated at 6000 or 8000 hrs depending on bulb setting. The TV shows no bending for me SSE is somewhat noticeable on solid color screens but lowering the contrast greatly reduces this. It is an awesome TV for the price, the reason why it is so cheap is Toshiba...

    Wirelessly connecting 25 people

Where do I buy a box that is ready for this and not overkill, does it need multiple LAN cards? Will a low end commerical router be easier for less computer literate to operate? What are my opinions with this?

    Wirelessly connecting 25 people

Ok I am pretty new to networking other than troubleshooting home routers so sorry if I am catching on a little slow but basically what I am getting from this thread is: Buy a barebones PC and put m0n0wall on it for the router Flash 3 WAP54Gs with dd-wrt as acess points. Is the m0n0wall box...

    Wirelessly connecting 25 people

So if I get a commercial router should I just linksys access points or is there a better alternative? I talked to the guy with the money and he wants to keep it under $500, what is the best I could do with that budget?
