    there are programs. go to like fry's electronics or compusa. FYI compusa will be alot higher in $$$. just tell the clerk you need a viedo card/hardware monitor. they fit in your 5.25 slot. the snsor attaches to your video card. if you have an 9600xt or 9800xt it has a built in temp monitor

    DVDrom not reading media...

    What kinda of media? music, dvd's or burned cd's? some burned cd's will not reconize on older dvd or cd-r-r/w drives. may need to update driver if maker has one..

    depending on the maker most all 9600XT don't have a external power header on them. especially the ones built by ati.
