Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I think they should hire a community manager, since they don't have the time to update the forums themselves (at least during this highly intensive final stage).
I don't think they ever said so? I think Europe was initially mentioned, but I suspected they'd go with Taiwan or China like...
I think you missed my point. Jay said that he couldn't use a psu with higher wattage (than 500), because there are no psu's having the same physical dimensions (SFX) but with higher wattage. This is incorrect, and hence I guess he simply doesn't know?
Not sure what Jay was on about with the PSU? There are at least two alternative SFX PSU's with 600W or higher rating, having the same physical dimensions (AFAIK).
I hope the S24 actually does fit, but just requires some "love" to brute force the hoses in place?
Agreed, tempered glass is a really stupid choice. It has one single advantage - scratch resistance - but everything else is worse. And no, I can't see how tempered glass would be "premium" in any way whatsoever.
But I won't be getting see-through side panels no matter the choice of material, so...
A graphics card with a blower style cooler will always be beneficial when it comes to heating other components (since it won't... well, maybe a little), but the fan noise level of such a cooler is definitely higher. To me, low noise is the most important, so I'd go with the FTW3.
The Fractal...
Which of those two would you subjectively say is more silent? I don't want extra wires nor flashy looks, but if the X52 is more silent I'd personally still go for that one.
As I've understood it, Computerbase is pretty huge in Germany, not sure if it's the largest but it is apparently very popular. Non-Enligsh though, but Germany is a large market.
Louqe are going to test taller feet soon, to see how much of a difference it makes to temperatures. If it does make a significant difference, I think they said they'll also include a set of taller feet for free.
Hmm... I've been thinking about getting a separate rig purely for gaming, but I haven't done it partially because of desktop space. Stacking two Ghosts with a joiner hat would solve that problem - having a workstation case in the bottom and a much more heat generating game case on top. :geek:
