the anti glare is still there just like any matte screen. I received a second REV A07 today and I can say its confirmed to have less anti glare just like my first REV A07!

Received my Dell U3011 Rev A07 last week. The first moment I powered it on I new something was different! (Owned a Rev A05 for about 3 months.)
whites don't have that harsh grainy/dirty look to them
games= WOW!
with the reduction in anti-glare imo, it placed this monitor on a whole new level...
I own a Dell U3011 which has received a new revision(REV A07) recently and comparing it with the previous REV A05 which I owned before, I can say the AG coating is much less! from the first moment I turned it on I new something was different! whites don't have that dirty sandy look anymore...
hey guys after going through about 5 dell U3011's (REV A05) which stemmed from purchasing and returning defective units for various reasons, I finally received a monitor(REV A07,MAN: April 2012) I'm happy with! this monitor has the best picture quality out of all of them.

I bought a dell U3011 from DELL but exchanged it because of severe backlight bleed and a blemish on the bezel.
received my replacement monitor a couple days ago and found:
