    The Kingston SSDs have massive write amplification (20x or more) and their garbage collection is constant, I've stayed away from them despite their budget pricing because I would honestly worry about their longevity, especially since you know they aren't using high quality NAND.

    Don't ask me lol. I just know what I read from researching the review sites and forums, I haven't seen anyone give an explanation for the difference. All I know is that the async NAND is cheaper and slower on non-compressible data. Dunno why.
