• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Amazon’s Ring to partner with Flock, a network of AI cameras used by ICE, feds, and police

Flock sounds friendly, not going to lie:D Makes you want to pet one! In my opinion, in a perfect world, it is a good tool. But, since we are dealing with human nature, this tool falls victim to misuse. It's like going to either expensive restaurant or "Billy and Joel's": if you have a cook who...

Reporting a phishing email to google?

I am always concerned about this, because Gmail app shows preview of the message as a pop up. Same for text messages. Does google android implement some sort of fortification against these attacks? S23 shows Knox security upon bootup, no idea how or if it is potent.

Amazon’s Ring to partner with Flock, a network of AI cameras used by ICE, feds, and police

Thank you for clarifying. It was merely a constructive question. I thought that if we remove police force, will we have to resort to some type of citizen militia law enforcement.

Meta becomes latest firm to say its AI hacked another company

No repercussions? Seems like because AI did it, everyone thinks it's cute. Even if 14 year old did it, his parents and/or the minor would be facing some serious consequences.

Amazon no longer showing 1 Star Reviews

I wish they left it alone. Just keep moderating suspicious reviews and leave the rest alone. If one star reviewers start flocking to two star review section, it will skew the overall rating and make legitimate two star reviews longer to sift through.

ISPs’ long nightmare of having to list all the fees they charge is finally over

Because, eh...money. :(it's the same when you purchase at the dealer. To get a good price, you'll need to spend half a dy there and be prepared to walk away if no budge.

ISPs’ long nightmare of having to list all the fees they charge is finally over

When I was signing up for internet, they told me how much I will be paying. When my first bill came, it was exactly what I negotiated over the phone. Eventually, discounts started to dry up after two years. I decided to call back and cancel or re-negotiate favorable price. After several hours...

    Steam Users abusing refund policy

He made a game in a month, but maybe he was brainstorming on the idea over the period of five years. Living off credit cards, he accumulated a lot of debt and his way out was to make wealth off the game sales and pay off all his outstanding loans. Unfortunately, there were just enough refunds...
