Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
As I posted earlier in this thread, my game always crashed after the sub marine ride into the city.
I figured out my problem was my Audigy sound drivers. After updating to the latest drivers from the creative site my game plays great.
I was now able to play all the way until "Bubbles" got...
Just curious if any of you might know why this demo always crashes for me.
It will let me play through the part where you swim in the water and enter the lighthouse.
But after the the little sub takes me through the city it will always crash after the sub goes through the coiled tube and...
Just got mine in yesterday with the foot pads.
I now find that my mouse is way less accurate then before the pad.
The cursor will constantly move up the screen without me even touching the mouse.
Maybe I just need to adjust the sensitivity settings as my desk is level with no shaking at all.
Anybody able to get this program mentioned on the front page of Hard OCP to install.
I have tried to browse to every HL2 folder I have and I still can't get it to install.
I have a Steam downloaded version of Half-Life 2.
Thanks for the responses. I did not notice that the bottom section of the "No Preview" tab had a scroll bar. If I had scrolled down I would have found it. Oh well, live and learn.
Where is the "VSYNC Slider" that is mentioned in The Hard-OCP review?
They say it is in the "no preview" window, but I must be blind because I can't see it on my computer or on their screen shot.
You guys are indeed correct. Setting the slider bar to max quality solved the problem.
Thanks a bunch for all the input on this problem.
I knew it had to be something simple since everybody did not experience it.
Now my menus are crystal clear.
Well, At least I am not just seeing things.
My brother has almost the exact same setup as me but has not loaded Doom 3 yet. I will check his out to see if his menus are blurry with the filtering on.
Has anyone else noticed this.
I have a 9800 Pro video card. When the On screen menu system comes up for Doom 3 where you can save, load and mess with the system settings it is very blurry.
After I turned the Anisotropic filtering to "Application Preference" it cleared the menu system and PDA...
My old 9700 pro did that about 6 months ago.
I could never get it to stop so I replaced it with a 9800 pro.
If anyone out there thinks they can save the old 9700 pro or use it for parts then let me know. I hate to throw things away.
I have a 9800 Pro video card and just noticed these red and white dots today after installing the 4.9 Doom3 drivers.
I don't remember having them with the 4.7's but maybe I just was not paying enough attention.
I am not overclocked at all and no other game does this. I refuse to underclock my...
Man. I just finished replaying Sam and Max so I would be ready for the new game. I even heard they had hired the same voice actors.
Too bad, it was a very funny game.
