Why you sold the ultimate? :D because of the heatpipes interaction with ram?
I use to measure my temp in the room and in my case too and I noticed that after 2 hours of gaming for example, temp in my case is about 29°C and room temp 25°C so what you said is indeed very corect. ^^
Ops, I forgot the price. Yeah, in my country (Romania) price difference between H100i and R1 is about 40-50$.
I use the R1 ultimate with stock fans, I found them really good, anyways better than the ones used on h100i. And I chose them over noctua because of the aesthetics, after all they are...
First of all I want to thank you for your reply.
Sure, I will be glad to share my toughts with you comparing the Cryorig R1 ultimate with H100i gtx. I will try to put them un in categories down below:
Mounting:
-R1: easy, intuitive, took me about 5 minutes.
-H100i gtx: easy (maybe a bit...
Thanks a lot for your information, and thanks others too. I was a bit concerned because I used a h100i gtx before (until the pump died) and when I removedit, it was pretty clean, so I tough I made something wrong or applyed to much pressure on the heatsink when mounting it even if I was very...
Hello!
I recently moved to a new house and i had to take my pc with me so i decided to remove the CPU cooler ( a Cryorig R1 Ultimate) because i didn't want to damage the motherboard due to transport or anything. After i removed it and prepared to pack it, i saw some little scratches, most...
I am so sorry to hear that, you've been a bit unlucky with that chip. AFAIK, brodwell-e doesn't overclock as good as the haswell did, but still, 1.4v at 4.1ghz seems a bit weird. .I mean the voltage looks so damn high to me, considering the fact that I hit 4.2ghz with only 1.1v and I will go for...
I use my pc mainly for architectural design, 3d modeling and video rendering and content creation. I use softwares like 3dsmax, revit, archicad, photoshop, after effects etc.
I tested some games like far cry primal before and alter oc and the boost was bearly noticeable: 3-5 fps, also the...
Hello guys!
I recently finished my build and after purchasing a new cpu cooler I started to overclock. I am new to this thing and I need some tips. First of all I read some forums and watch some videos about overclocking.
I will begin by telling you what i've done so far and what were my...
Thanks guys. I have a Corsair Graphite 780T case..pretty big case with lots of space inside. I removed the hdd racks so the front vents are not blocked. I am curious how one of those 2 air coolers that I mentioned ( noctua and cryorig) would perform. My ambient temps go anywhere from 20 °C in...
Hello guys! As the thitle say, i am facing a hard decision here. I used to cool my cpu with a Corshair H100i GTX which failed after 1 and a half so now that I got my money back from the retailer i need to buy a new cpu cooler. I don't know if i should pick liquid cooler or air cooler. I want to...
