• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

    Can't SSH past router

I'm using a Linksys WRT54G with the DD-WRT firmware. As far as I can tell, there isn't a firewall set up. Also, I was previously able to have someone ssh through my router (with the same settings I have now) to a different machine on my home network... so I don't think it's a firewall issue...

New to linux. using ubuntu . how to get drivers a7n266-vm/aa

This is like telling a guy who wants to be a mechanic but has never even changed his oil to do an engine rebuild as his first project. Ubuntu is fine for a beginner. Additionally, as a relatively seasoned Linux user, I still use X to manage my terminals as well as Firefox and VLC. So do most...

I want to switch, but can't.

For starters, which distro are you using? Ubuntu is likely to have the most help for you as a new user - ubuntuforums.org is a great resource, and it's likely that someone else has had (and fixed) the same problems you're having right now. Sound can be a pain, but try this: go into a terminal...

    Rather unique Linux/XP dualbooting situation

Hello everyone, I have a rather unique Linux/XP situation going on, and I'm hoping someone can help me out. What I've got is a single 40GB IDE drive with XP installed on it. Then I have a 320GB SATA drive with Ubuntu installed, but this drive is connected to the motherboard through a PCI...

We use Clarify here. It works well enough, but the search function is less than helpful.
