• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Remote Desktop - Please Please Help

Yes, just forward it to your local IP, and then you will access it from remote by using the IP that www.whatismyip.com gives you.. If you need to find your local IP, go to command prompt and type ipconfig and it should give you your local IP (192.168.2.x)

Remote Desktop - Please Please Help

Forward port 3389 to your desktop. That should take care of it. I would recommend unforwarding it when you are back on your home network, for security's sake though. Hope that helps!

Question about Best Buy PSP procedure

Best Buy keeps a record of purchase date, purchase item, contact information, etc, etc with each PSP sold. No worries. As long as your receipt has a valid PSP# on it, which is located down below the total, then you're fine!

    How fast is your internet?

I'm with Mediacom and I'm only getting about 1450ish down and about 230ish up. I got an e-mail saying they bumped our caps to 3000/256? I can see that the upload cap is higher, but I'm still below what the original download cap!

Is there a way to stop the "Network cable is unplugged" icon from coming up?

I'd rather not have to enable/disable the network connection every time. It's not that big of a deal with my wired connection as I rarely use it. However I'd like to avoid disabling my bluetooth connection as it sees some use.

Is there a way to stop the "Network cable is unplugged" icon from coming up?

I have this same problem, except even when I hide it, after I reboot it comes right back. Very frustrating. I looked around in TweakUI, but I don't see any way to turn off that particular notification.
