Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've reduced the price to $150. Pretty good deal if you are in the market.

Worst thread ever, I shouldn't have made it... lol
I bought a 8400 GS for a computer built for a family member, it was a non-turbo cache version with only 256mb onboard. It ran fine and they haven't had any problems with it. I never tested it with HD video, because they basically use the...
thanks red, looks like a pretty decent card, the HDMI is a plus. I just hope it holds up under heat demands. that seems to be the only complaint from some, is it might get hot. But we'll see.
Putting together a HTPC and Nvidia's site rates the 8400 as good per HD-DVD playback and the 8500 as excellent.
So my question to you is the 8500 GT really that much better, or will the 8400 be able to handle HD-DVD's and broadcast HD signals just as well? I would also want to use a AMD...
