This was how I had it connected with my other computer setup. My older setup had an ATI video card. Connected to the tv the exact same way and I never encountered this problem.
The tv is set to it's native resolution 1920x1080. When I play a video, the resolution changes and when I close the video, it goes back to it's native resolution. (1920x1080)
No, I'm not switching to full screen. It changes when I press play and my desktop edges and taskbar are not within the frame of the screen. And when I do full screen the video, the edges of the video are cut off.
I can't figure how to fix this problem. I have my computer hooked up to my sony tv and the resolution is set correctly, but whenever I play a video the resolution changes. My taskbar and the edges of the video are outside of the screen. When I close the video, the resolution goes back to normal...
