Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I bought one and the first thing it did was the OTA update to 3.1
I have found playback of HTML embedded and discrete app youtube/flash to be excellent. The device is susceptible to flaky wireless connections (like any other device) and a few places I go have problems due to low/intermittent...
Could anyone comment on PDF viewing and available PDF annotation software? All the fancy capabilities are really attractive but I want to know about the actual tablet functionality. I want to go back to paperless (had a convertible tablet for a while and it was good but this looks like my...
Graphene is a fabrication NIGHTMARE. The idea of making an atom-thick structure with CONTROLLED and known properties several million times over PER CHIP is mind boggling. Now, it's pretty mind boggling that chips exist at all so it was worth the effort to research. There all ready are other...
Looks like a fabrication nightmare to me. A lot of applications outside of your home computer come to mind for me. Everything from TV's/DVR's to routers and mobile devices. Telecomm routers, and other infrastructure in-line computing might like this, too.
With the advent of SSD's I'm not...
Refurb for a desktop is probably fine. there are WAYY too many things that can go wrong with laptops (plus the possibility of physical abuse that didn't leave marks) for me to ever consider buying a refurb laptop.
Well, maybe if I got a 1 yr warranty and used a credit card that doubled the...
i'll play mediocre games for 10 bucks, sure. It's the pure crapshoot between the mediocre and above-average games that keeps me from ever paying $60 for a new title, ever. That includes the AAAA titles for me.
I've never paid more than 50 for a game, ever. I'll wait or deal hunt and if something better comes out in the mean time I'll get that and the game goes into the "some day" list. Eventually I'll buy it used or buy it on steam for 5-10.
Ever since the POS that was UT2k3 I've been very wary...
scary stuff to have this power for so cheap. The only uses I can think of are science-related and the power is probably too big for most of those! Even 1/2 that power will burn though a few micrometes of highly-absorbing stuff really quickly (seconds, tops).
just be CAREFUL with this...
free for me, too.
I use unlocked phones, though. I have a grandfathered plan w/ unlimited data. Looks like I'm not changing anything, well, ever. If they try to change my plan I'm out for a different company so fast their head will spin.
I've been keeping an eye on netbook tablets and, honestly, the HP tm2t is a way better bang for your buck, given that the netbook convertible tablets hover around 400-500. The HP is a ULV-processor machine so it has a full processor, you can get one even with discrete graphics, and it has...
