Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
A little birdy told me that AMD is testing the Radeon RX 9060 XT with 18 Gbps GDDR6.
This makes sense as AMD has bought all the available 20 Gbps GDDR6 market and is facing supply constraints.
Since GDDR6 is now considered "last generation", manufacturers are unlikely to increase production...
In general, GDDR6 is inexpensive, but the 20 Gbps GDDR6 that AMD uses isn't.
14 Gbps GDDR6 is cheaper and plentiful because they are used in game consoles.
For the $299 model, AMD could have used 16GB of 14 Gbps GDDR6, but that comes with compromises.
You would get twice the VRAM, but 30%...
The GeForce RTX 5060 8GB roughly matches the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB at 1080p, but the former falls behind at 1440p and even more so at 4K
...and it's not because of insufficient VRAM since both cards have the same amount of VRAM
