Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The 65mm IMAX film is designed to be viewed on a 50ft tall screen. I think viewing the same material on a smaller screen would be something akin to watching your blurays on a 32" LCD. Sure you could still watch the film on a smaller screen, but you aren't able to get any benefit from the...
Either your local theaters are complete crap or you are dillusional. You will not come close to recreating the theater experience at home for $1200. Thats not to say you can't build an enjoyable system for that much, but close to theater level performance you are dreaming.
I would also like...
I don't mind digital projection in theaters. I'm sure the quality is still all there in the theaters. There is no reason for them to compress the films to the point where they lose quality. They would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did so.
However, on the consumer side they will...
I have quite a bit invested in my home theater. More than anyone else I know, and I'm sure less than a few people on here. While it is definately fun to screen movies at home with a bunch of friends. In my opinion there is no replacement for seeing a quality movie in the theater. I also love...
My pump is mounted inverted with rubber washers. Its practically inaudible. My 1000rpm fans are louder.
I would just use some kind of rubber or neoprene to isolate the pump from the case. That should solve any noise issues.
Wow thats a timely post to counter my thread.
I would guess its a problem with the additive. Sorry to see that. I hope you get compensation from the seller.
Iv'e seen some threads where certain additives are breaking down and clogging the block. I have no idea if that is a common...
To all those who are scared to mix aluminum and copper in your water cooling loop. Don't be. The following pictures are from a MCW50-t. This block has been in service in one of my computers for the past six years. It has seen four different video cards, three different cpu iterations and...
Thanks I was finally able to get a decent cooler on it. That was a quick and dirty o/c. I haven't had a chance to mess with anything other than cpu and vdimm voltages. I couldn't get it to run prime at 215 - 220 bclk, even running the voltage up to 1.375 and vdimm at 1.7. I can however get...
Wow this thread really devolved. Some people seem to think I'm some kind of brainless idiot. A few others actually get the point of the thread and agree that further money should be spent with companies that have better warranties. I really didn't think I was Whining at all. Just trying to...
I bought a card three years ago that had a "lifetime" warranty. I admitted I didn't read the fine print. Just trying to put the word out. If a warranty factors into your buying decision at all don't be fooled by BFG's "lifetime" warranty.
I don't believe I should be forced to decieve the...
Just a little friendly reminder to all those people with BFG cards. If you attempt to overclock your already overclocked card you will void your warranty. Also if you remove the stock cooler to put a different cooler on, say like a waterblock that some of thier cards come equiped with, you...
